Chocolate dipped Peanut Butter cookies with Pomegranate salt....

My schedule today is a bit maddening as I have appointment after appointment scheduled and with all the plans and priorities to keep, I have not utilized my time all that well the past 24 hours. So...I'm in need of a quick post today. And did I mention I'm hungry? I never eat well when I'm busy. And when I'm hungry, I want carbs and chocolate. Specifically anything made by teenage phenom, Izy Hassock.

I love to check out Izy's food blog, Top With Cinnamon, to see what she's concocted next- and photographed so beautifully. These Chocolate dipped peanut butter cookies with pomegranate salt stopped me in my tracks as the flavor combo just sounded so good. I could easily eat a dozen in one sitting right now...

Check out her blog post to learn a few of her recipe tidbits which include how she came up with pomegranate salt, why she used oat flour and baking powder instead of baking soda. Every ingredient has a rhyme and a reason in Izy's world. She's a gem doing what she does at just 17. And luckily for blogs and social media, she can share her talent with all of us. See the entire post, here.

I came across these scrumptious pics about a month ago and had to share. The blog is called Top With Cinnamon by Izy Hossack. She's an extremely talented teenager who blogs recipes and stories on the weekends. Plus, she takes killer pics.

She got the initial recipe from Joy the Baker cookbook but decided to change it up a bit. In her words she wanted to make the recipe 'extraaaaaaaaaaa insane' and created a brownie batter chocolate frosting that sounds like just that. Check out her story and the entire recipe here. And happy weekend...
