When I dream of a bigger kitchen, I dream of long, open shelving to display dozens of beautiful and varied ceramic pieces. There is just an overwhelming amount of fantastic work being done all over the world which keeps me falling in lust over and over and over again - most recently with the collective work of Katherine Hanks McAlister and Stephanie Anne Martin of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
As stated on the site, "Their collaborative ceramic work is inspired by the women's deep connection to one another, their feminine selves and the landscape surrounding them." As part of their aesthetic and intention, both women work on each piece in some capacity before it leaves the studio. As their space is full of natural light, surrounded by greenery, their ceramic collection evokes a strong influence of the natural world.
