In anticipation of the upcoming Sweet Peach Sweet Spots guide to Nashville, I'll be focusing on the city a bit more over the next month. Nashville has been a city I have always wanted to know more about and in doing research for the Sweet Spots, I was able to discover some incredible restaurants, hangouts and shops, including this one. Two Son.
As I moved to Atlanta via Los Angeles, where the clothes shopping is ridiculously good, it's always a happy moment when I discover a great shop with unique and well made brands. Two Son is one of those shopping gems- offering fantastic men's and women's fashion as well as a stellar selection of books and home accessories. Labels include Ace & Jig, Objects Without Meaning, Caron Callahan, Life After Denim and the Two Son brand.
The space is large, welcoming and bright. There's a lot to look at and try on without feeling overwhelmed. It's tasteful curation at its best and the kind of shop where you can buy a unique piece of clothing that will either be a good, reliable basic or a fashion statement. Two Son was founded by two couples; David Perry and Leigh Watson and Aubrey McCoy and James Kicinski-McCoy. Each couple has, as you may suspect, two sons.
And if you can't visit the shop in person, don't despair. Check out the Two Son online shop, here.
