Christmas at Honeycomb Studio...

Since my nieces signed me up for Instagram, I've been loving it more and more each day. I'm connected with interesting people from all over the world, plus, every day I get to see what my favorite artists are up to. Like Courtney Hamill from Honeycomb Studio, who recently shared a pic on Instagram of some holiday ornaments in progress. I immediately knew I had to blog about them. Well, the day has come...

A few days ago, I popped into Courtney's backyard studio on the west side of Atlanta and found her smoothing out a few porcelain ornaments just out of their mold...

Courtney started making these last year after finding inspiration in the basic wooden ornaments at Michaels craft store. Courtney, "They're simple, modern forms with clean lines. I just think they're so classic."

Courtney offers them in three colors; oxblood red, matte black and white, in either a round or oval shape. All have her signature metallic accents and can be ordered here. If you'd like them by the holiday, please order before the 15th. And I hope you do- they're gorgeous ornaments that will stand the test of time, never a day out of style.
