Brown and Blue

I'm in a brown and blue mood this week. My bedroom is painted these two colors and I've found myself drawn to a few products this week that just so happen to share this color scheme. This vintage blue chair for a kid's room is sold by Old Time Pickers in Kentucky (a really fun site to peruse). I also love these old school metal office trays from Salem, Virginia that would look great on a vintage desk. I am dreaming of this set of tea or coffee cups with saucers that can be found here. This whole set, which also includes a sugar dish is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Caleb James is an extremely talented furniture designer that has a love for the Scandinavian aesthetic, my favorite. I'm particularly fond of his beautifully crafted mid century modern foot stools. This mid century teapot with a blue lid would look so sweet next to the foot stool, don't you think? It's from Place Michel, an Etsy shop in South Carolina that is filled with wonderful finds to ooh and aah over. I must do a post soon just on wooden crates as they have so much southern character, particularly this wood and metal milk crate, also by Old Time Pickers. Start perusing and enjoy the weekend...
