Bed Spring Lights

I love the idea of upcycling items that may otherwise end up in a landfill. Creator of these little gems, Mary from Urban Hardware, calls these pendants made from old bed springs, "industrial hillbilly haute." Based in Dallas, Texas, Mary became inspired after finding some individual bed springs at an antique shop. Attracted to their shape and time-rusted color, she created these pendants adding coppery cloth covered cord and some really fun Edison bulbs. At just $50 each, these are an amazing, one of a kind deal that add instant character to any room. Love love...

I really love these light fixtures. The industrial feel to them and of course the fact that they are upcycled. I could see them in a farmhouse mixed with pottery barn furniture or in a warehouse loft space would be cool. Very fun, thanks for posting these!!
